About Johnny
Johnny Thomas, Founder
Hi, I'm Johnny. I grew up in Pleasant Grove, Utah, and I still live there today with my wife, Meg, and our seven kids. Utah County is home, and I love helping the families and business owners who live here.
I've worked in finance for more than 20 years and have held my Series 65 license since 2013. Over that time I've noticed that a lot of people feel overwhelmed by money, not because they aren't capable, but because the industry tends to make things more complicated than they need to be. I started Fortis Wealth Management to do things differently: a holistic approach, plain-language advice, and a relationship built on working together. No gimmicks, no pressure.
With seven kids at home, I understand the real-life tradeoffs families face every day, and I bring that perspective to every conversation.
Outside the office, you'll probably find me at Big Goat Fitness, our family gym, or out on a trail. I love hiking, training for triathlons, and soaking in a good hot spring after a long day outdoors.
